MUSICAL MONSTERS

Category: Group
Value: 20 Points
Time: 4 weeks
YOUR TASK
Each member of your group will draw at least one monster and then animate that monster (using tweening) to perform a singular basic movement. For example, the monster might open and shut its mouth, or raise and lower its arm.

Then, add a sound to match with the monster's movement - this may be a sound that you record (e.g. yourself saying "bop!") or a musical sound on Garageband.

Edit the animated monster so that the sound matches with the movement, loop the animation, and then edit and loop all of the group's monsters together to create your final animated musical sequence (total length approximately 1-2 minutes).
TIP: it will be more effective if your final sequence begins with just one monster 'singing' and then gradually adds more monsters along the way.

What are Musical Monsters?
This task is essentially creating our own rip-off version of the game My Singing Monsters, but without the interactive gaming element. Watch the game trailer on the left to get some ideas for your own creations!
