The Task
You are going to create a positive, genuine, sincere, uplifting film about your partner.
1. Interview your partner, asking them questions about themselves, their interests, hobbies, what they think they're good at, what they think other people think about them, who are their closest friends. Any other questions you might think of. What people may not know about them. Interesting things, etc. You will record and transcribe the interview.
2. You will interview their friends, asking them what they think about them.
3. You will organise a time to interview their family members, asking them to tell positive stories about your partner - at least parents, siblings also if possible
4. You will organise a time to film your partner doing at least one of the things they are good at, or something they do that you didn't know about them before this task, or both...this may need to be on a weekend or after school
5. You should film all of these interviews apart from the initial one in step one with your partner
6. You will edit all of this footage into a finished video with music and titles.
7. You must not show your partner any of the film until, firstly I have seen an edit of it, and secondly, it is completely finished and approved by me. The final product should be a complete surprise that they'll watch by themselves/or you might film them watching a rough cut of your film once I've approved it and put some of that in the finished product.
