This term for New Media, you will be completing the course work using an idea called a Flipped Classroom. A basic definition of what a Flipped Classroom is, is thus: "The flipped classroom is a teaching model in which the traditional lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed. Short video lectures/resources/course content is viewed by students at home before the class session, while in-class time is devoted to exercises, projects, or discussions."
What this means is that your engagement with the content on this site and the research conducted needs to be completed outside of class time, so that when we discuss them in class, or work on exercises, you will already have a sound understanding of all of the relevant information.
Whilst some of the content and resources you will need will be on this website, there will also be times when you will be required to conduct your own research. Some of this will be via you searching online yourself, whilst some of it will be done via additional readings posted on the "Research" page on this site.
